George Simon is a guitarist, teacher, and composer active in the Salt Lake City music scene. Although his musical roots began in Blues and Rock, George has studied and performed many eclectic styles including Jazz, Funk, Soul, R&B,  Reggae, and World music.  In 2008, he studied Funk and Fusion Performance at the Berklee College of Music. George continued studying Jazz Composition and Guitar Performance at the University of Utah, where he received his Bachelors of Music in 2012. He has also studied with other well-known musicians, such as Corey Christiansen, Mike Miller, & Chris Buono. George has taught at various schools and programs in Utah, including Utah Music Conservatory, Music Garage, Reid School, and Granger School of Music and currently performs and records with various musical groups in Salt Lake City.
